An established retail and fashion brand presented a brief to create a unique and online journal, that linked with their main e-commerce site.
As an already established and successful retail brand, Maurie & Eve approached me to create an online blog/journal that was different from their main e-commerce site, but still linked to and drew inspiration from. Using Wordpress, i created a unique blog portal, that allowed for the beautiful imagery to remain front and centre (as this was a big part of their brand), whilst capitalising on the minimalist approach in typeface choices and layout.
Three blog templates were created to generically fit in interview, subject lists and photo journal type posts. The whole site was made with the end goal being to handover to the client, and have ‘anyone’ jump in and create a beautiful looking post using the templates. The site still featured products and links back to the main e-commerce site, and overall the client was extremely happy with the differing yet still very much on-brand journal.
